PM Modi Says Goa Supports Progressive Politics After BJPs Zilla Panchayat Victory

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday hailed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) performance in the Goa Zilla Panchayat elections, calling the results a clear endorsement of “progressive politics” by the people of the coastal state. Reacting to the party’s strong showing, the Prime Minister said the verdict reflected Goa’s trust in development-oriented governance and grassroots leadership.

In a message shared on social media, PM Modi congratulated BJP leaders and workers for their efforts, stating that the people of Goa had once again shown faith in politics focused on growth, transparency, and public welfare. He described the Zilla Panchayat poll outcome as an important milestone that strengthens the party’s commitment to inclusive development at the grassroots level.
